Keyboard Shortcut Keys of Most Commonly Used Commands

Computer Shortcut Keys method makes convenient and quick working for users. Here some common commands are described with Shortcut Keys that are used mostly.







1. Copy Command
Copy command is used to copy or move any item (file, folder, text etc.) to a new place. Ctrl + C keyboard shortcut key is used to copy any item to Clipboard which you want to move to a new place. The actual item will not be deleted by Copy command.
First select the item (file, folder, text etc.) you want to copy. Then press Ctrl + C shortcut key.

2. Cut Command
Cut command is also used to move item (file, folder, text etc.) to another position but remove the selected item from original position. Ctrl + X keyboard shortcut key is used for Cut command. It also copy data on Clipboard temporarily.
First select the item which you want to move to other position.

3. Paste Command
This command is used to paste data/item that's in the clipboard. Ctrl + V shortcut key is used for pasting data that is copied from cut or copy command.

4. Undo Command
Undo command is used to reverse the last action. If text was accidentally deleted or if there was some type of editing mistake, you may be able to reverse the last action using the Undo command. Ctrl + Z keyboard shortcut key for Undo command.

5. Redo Command
Redo command is used to Repeat the last action. Ctrl + Y shortcut key for Redo command.

6. Save Command
This command is used to save file or document in which you are working currently. Ctrl + S shortcut key is used to Save document.

7. Save As Command
Save command is used to Save your document of file in new location or with new name. F12 keyboard shortcut key is used for Save As command.

8. Print Command
This command is used to Print a document. Ctrl + P keyboard shortcut key is used for Print.

9. Open Command
This command Allows you to Open a file within the current application. Ctrl + O command is used to open a file.

10. Find and Replace Command
To find your specific text from opened document the Find command is used with the Ctrl + F keyboard shortcut key.
Replace command is used to replace your searched text with other text. Ctrl + H keyboard shortcut key is used for Replace command.
